Chicken Tikka Pizza


Ingredients

  • Flour 2 cup
  • Yeast 1 tbsp
  • Caster sugar 1 tsp
  • Dry milk powder 1 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Toppings:
  • Chicken tikka chunks 1 cup
  • Onion 1 (sliced)
  • Capsicum 1 (sliced)
  • Tomato 1 (sliced)
  • Mozzarella and cheddar cheese 1 cup
  • Red chilies 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Olive oil to brush
  • Chili garlic sauce to drizzle
  • Pizza Sauce:
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves 3 (crushed)
  • Red chilies 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Tomato puree or paste 1 cup
  • Ketchup 2 tbsp

  • Cooking Directions

    1. For Dough: Knead all the above ingredients with lukewarm water and keep covered in an oiled bowl in a warm place for 1 hour or till well risen and doubled.
    2. Roll out onto a floured surface and line a pizza plate with it.
    3. Add sauce, toppings and let rise again in a warm place for 20 more minutes.
    4. Bake at 200 degrees C for 20 minutes or till cheese has melted and dough is cooked.
    5. For Topping: To assemble the pizza, roll out dough and brush with olive oil.
    6. Sprinkle some cheese on top, top with sauce and chicken tikka chunks, onions, tomatoes and capsicums, more cheddar and mozzarella cheese and some crushed red chilies.
    7. Sprinkle some chili garlic sauce.
    8. Bake for 20 minutes on 180 degrees C or till done.
    9. Pizza Sauce: Heat oil, add onion, sauté add garlic, salt, oregano, sugar, red chilies crushed and a little water.
    10. Add ketchup and tomato puree and let cook till thick.
    11. Use as pizza sauce or pasta sauce.
